Are you slogging through a hard season? Facing true challenges, or even heartbreak? Or can you remember when that was true…

Last week, we featured cheerleader, Queen, and WW executive member Precious Williams on the podcast and she helped us look forwards with confidence when she said:

“My second chapter is going to be better than my first.”

Precious Williams, Rainmaking Speaker, Perfect Pitch Group

This statement came after describing loss, grief, addiction, and homelessness — experiences that could have easily defined the end of her story.

Instead, she treated those experiences as a turning point.

What’s powerful here is not just resilience, but perspective. Precious reminded us that identity is not frozen in a single moment — or even a devastating period of time.

For many executive women, this lands close to home. Careers have chapters too. So do relationships, reputations, and confidence. A setback can feel like a permanent verdict instead of a temporary passage.

But Precious reframed it clearly: if you still have breath, you still have value. Your purpose isn’t finished just because one chapter closed.

This is an invitation to zoom out.

You are not only who you were.
You are not limited to what happened.
You are still becoming — and becoming can be powerful.

The future isn’t cancelled by the past.
Sometimes it’s clarified by it.

This email was inspired by a recent conversation with Precious Williams on The Ripple podcast.
